As you embark on your journey of healing and recovery, Freedom Residential Rehab is the next step towards your new life. But what can you expect from your time in our residential facilities? What will happen every day, and what type of therapy and activities can you expect? As you overcome addiction and develop a healthier lifestyle, at Freedom, you’re in charge. Let’s find out more about what to expect.

Your daily life in Bali rehab

In your daily life at Freedom, the first thing you can expect after you wake up is an hour and a half of exercise, typically a walk on the beach or a session at the gym. Then, it’s breakfast and a daily check-in before ending the morning with goal setting, therapy, or a knowledge session where we arm you with tools to manage your addiction.

After lunch, you’ll have a wellness session of your choice - massage, yoga, art therapy, ice bath - you name it! You are then free to relax into the evening with perhaps a beach walk or an optional 12-step meeting before dinner and free time.

Weekends are spent with more wellness sessions and some road trips to explore some of Bali’s breathtaking beauty.

The role of therapy

We understand that turning to drink and/or drugs is a way to temporarily escape existing pain or trauma. But to heal this pain, we need to get down to the root of it with expert therapy. That’s why at Freedom we provide more therapy sessions than any other rehab.

Nutrition and wellness

Nutrition is a big part of being sober. After all, you can’t heal if you don’t have the right vitamins and minerals in your body. That’s why you have a private chef preparing your meals during your stay at Freedom Bali.

You do have a choice in what you eat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided at the villa Monday to Friday and at  the weekend we’ll either take you out to eat or you can order in. If your diet is currently poor, we’ll help to phase out junk food and introduce more nutritious and healthy food during your stay.

We’ll also help you do five wellness activities of your choice each week, introducing daily healthy habits. We’ll then check in to see how you’re doing in our Weekly Wellness Watch. These healthy habits, if you stick to them, are a key part in keeping you sober once you leave.

Coping with triggers and cravings

We understand how hard it is to deal with triggers and cravings in daily life. So, we’ve made knowledge a vital part of your Freedom program. We use psychology-based techniques to help you understand the way you think and to take another look when your thoughts aren’t helping you. Emotional regulation is another key element of long term sobriety.

After care - preparing for transitioning out of rehab

Of course, the care you receive in residential rehab won’t just stop the minute you head out the door. Instead, we have an exit plan with four key areas of relapse prevention. These are accountability, coping strategies, self-care, and support networks.

If you’re committed to creating a happy, healthy, purposeful future for yourself, we’ll help you rediscover the old dreams you lost sight of and become the person you truly want to be.

After you spend some time at our private, one-on-one residential rehab, we hope you come away with a greater knowledge of who you are and where you are going. If you’re ready to improve your life for the better and get to know our unique approach to rehabilitation, get in touch with us via email, WhatsApp, or a call today.
